LEGACY School Of Discipleship
LEGACY Ministries offers a spiritual formation training school designed to help believers understand, experience, and partner with the transformative reality of Christ within them. We hold two 9-week sessions each year for individuals aged 18 and older. The summer session is specifically for first-time students, while the fall session is tailored for returning students. We accept a maximum of 30 students for each training session.
Our Training's Focus
LEGACY's ministry focus centers on the achievements of God through His Son, Jesus Christ, and the application of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. Our mandate from God is to "announce Christ, to admonish every man, and to teach every man in all wisdom so that we may present every man mature in Christ." (Colossians 1:28)
For us, being "mature" in Christ does not mean living a life free from sin but rather maintaining a consistent relationship with God through a Christ-centered perspective. Essentially, LEGACY's training helps believers cultivate and enhance their spiritual rhythm with God, allowing them to live under God's continuous guidance. Paul expressed this in Acts 17:28 when he said, "for in Him we live and move and have our being."
With the goal of achieving a spiritual rhythm with God, we focus our training on several key areas: recognizing God as our inward reality, relying on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, building confidence in the Scriptures, participating actively in the Body of Christ, and living a life characterized by practical virtue.

Our training aims to present and solidify God as an inward reality and not
as a religious obligation
in the spiritual life.
1st Semester – Core Training
MAY 18 – JULY 16, 2025

REST. RECEIVE. REVIVE. RHYTHM. REALITY.
Our first-semester training is a unique spiritual formation experience. It focuses on the constitution of our inner being rather than merely on religious behaviors. Students will learn how to rest and receive from God in their spiritual lives, how to partner with God's Spirit for ongoing revival in their inner selves, how to find a spiritual rhythm that aligns with God's heart, and how to live a spiritual life rooted in reality rather than imagination. This training aims to help students establish a stable rhythm in a Christ-centered life.
Our curriculum emphasizes God's grace, life, reality, love, light, His dealings with us, empowerment, and community. This emphasis culminates in developing a spiritual life authentically reflecting the Lord's testimony. In addition to focusing on Christ within us, we also examine aspects of our emotional and relational lives with others. Daily life on the Lake Martin campus will involve practical chores and foster a lifestyle of service.
* Regarding Cost: If you can honestly pay the total tuition amount, please consider doing so. However, if you cannot afford the full tuition, please submit $5,000 for the tuition. As a ministry, we will trust God for the benevolence of our donors to cover the price difference.

Keep in mind that our training is nine weeks in length. Compared to other opportunities of this kind, you will discover that our tuition price is very reasonable.
2nd Semester – Active Training

CONNECT. CULTIVATE. CREATE.
Our second semester offers a unique opportunity for returning students to engage in training with a practical application to ministry, specifically in the "marketplace."
Active training students receive thorough mentoring, training, and support from LEGACY's leadership. They learn how to process, prepare, and present spiritual ministry within their respective spheres of influence. This training equips them with a deeper understanding of the Scriptures, self-study techniques, public speaking skills, and the ability to express spiritual concepts in everyday language. Additionally, they learn how to facilitate small group ministry, assist with administrative tasks, and complete curated responsibilities on behalf of the organization.
During this semester, we focus on enhancing relational CONNECTION.
We also intensify the disciplines of CULTIVATION in character and life skills.
Furthermore, we amplify the deployment of CREATIVITY.

The Application
Please note that we prayerfully consider each applicant. Acceptance is not guaranteed as we hold the right to discern if LEGACY is an appropriate fit due to many factors. It is also possible for us to get more applications than we have space for. In this case, we prayerfully evaluate who we feel is best suited for LEGACY for this particular season.
